Showers and Toilets
At Rowston we boast two modern shower and toilet blocks which are cleaned thoroughly twice a day and checked regularly. Children must be accompanied by an adult when using these facilities
The showers are operated by tokens which cost twenty pence each and last about 5 minutes. Any shower tokens left over at the end of your holiday can be refunded at the office. We charge for shower tokens to safeguard against the wastage of hot water therefore ensuring there is plenty for all of our guests. We have had problems in the past with the public from other parks gaining entrance to and using our shower facilities and so we have now fitted combination locks on the doors. You will be told these combinations on your arrival..
One toilet and shower block is near reception and open all season, there are separate men's and ladies toilet and shower facilities. Each block has 2 Showers, soap in dispensers and paper hand drying rolls, the ladies has 3 toilet cubicles, electric sockets for hairdryers, straighteners etc, whilst the men's have 2 cubicles, a urinal and shaver points. There is also a chemical toilet disposal point.
The second block is located between the Diner and the Tent Field. It consists of 5 communal showers, again there are separate facilities for ladies and men, each have two showers and four wash hand basins with hot and cold water, soap and hot air hand driers, the ladies has 6 toilet cubicles and two showers, the mens have toilet cubicles and urinals, they both have sockets.
Also located here is our family bathroom with a bath, toilet and wash hand basin, tokens are available for the bath and cost 50 pence. We have a baby bathroom which consists of 2 Nappy changing units, 2 baby baths which take 20p tokens. We also have a disabled toilet with wash hand basin, the key to which is available at reception for a deposit of £10 which is refundable.
We have wash-up facilities at the same location consisting of 5 large sinks and the hot water at these costs 10 pence.
Convenient to the touring field we have two chemical disposal toilet disposal points, 2 cold water taps running straight to drains and two cold water taps running to sinks.
Launderette
There is a fully equipped launderette on site which has 4 wasing machines, 1 spinner, 4 tumble dryers and an iron. |
